Diversity Skills Training

Diversity training is designed to help individual understand and appreciate those differences. Employees must be able to understand the importance of Diversity in the workplace.

The workforce has changed dramatically in the past ten years. It is important to understand that a workplace is a diverse collection of individuals proud of who they are. Including, their gender, their sexual orientation, their religion, their ethnic background, and all the other components that make an individual unique.

Diversity training is a critical piece of everyone’s work-related skills. Feel free to contact us if you are unsure which level of course to attend.

We run many courses with as few as 2 students and can also provide private sessions.

Diversity, Equity, and Inclusion 

Diversity is recognizing our individual differences and respecting, understanding, valuing, and leveraging those differences.  Differences can be age, gender, race, place of origin, color, disability, sexual orientation, gender identity, socioeconomic status, religious beliefs, marital status, family status and culture.

Diversity and inclusion are complex issues and intersectionality helps us understand that “social issues cannot be explored in isolation, as different identities such as race, gender, age, etc., intersect each person’s life and produce different privilege or oppression. This course aims to help participants address the diversity issues to create and maximize opportunities and potentials for individual, community, and business growth.
